She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Health Systems Executive Leadership from the University of Pittsburgh, where she focused on systems thinking and implementation science. She also holds certifications in Nurse Executive Leadership (NE-BC) and Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
Dr. Martin is passionate about global health and has made multiple visits to Whisper’s Magical Children’s Hospital in Jinja, Uganda, where she provides training, mentorship, and immersive experiences for the next generation of globally minded nurses.
